Job summary

Extia is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead global digital and ERP initiatives in a manufacturing setting. The role focuses on bridging central IT, international business stakeholders, and plant floor operations across Europe, North America, and Asia.

You will manage end-to-end delivery, governance, and cross-country collaboration in a hybrid work environment from Poznań, Poland, with travel to handle Europe-wide projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT project management experience in global manufacturing or industrial environments.
• ERP/SAP experience leading implementation or rollout projects (SAP preferred, Intralogistics/EWM/LOG/Operations modules).
• PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner; Agile certifications (Scrum/SAFe) are a plus.
• Experience with Stage-Gate/Phase-Gate governance frameworks.
• Excellent English communication; strong cross-cultural stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead global IT and digital projects from initiation to closure, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget.
• Drive day-to-day project activities, resource management, risk mitigation, and decision-making processes.
• Build strong relationships with cross-functional, multi-country business leaders and IT teams.
• Apply PMO methodologies, Stage-Gate delivery models, and transparent reporting for predictable execution.
• Oversee IT initiatives supporting shop-floor operations, intralogistics, and ERP/SAP ecosystem enhancements.

What You Will Be Doing

• End-to-End Delivery: Lead global IT and digital projects from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery on time, scope, quality, and budget.
• Operational Execution: Drive day-to-day project activities, resource management, risk mitigation, and decision-making frameworks.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Build strong relationships with cross-functional, multi-country business leaders and IT teams.
• Governance & Standards: Apply structured PMO methodologies, Stage-Gate delivery models, and transparent reporting to ensure predictable project execution.
• Supply Chain & Plant Solutions: Oversee IT initiatives supporting shop-floor operations, intralogistics, and ERP/SAP ecosystem enhancements.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: 5+ years of IT Project Management experience within complex, global manufacturing or industrial environments.
• ERP / SAP Knowledge: Demonstrated experience leading ERP implementation or rollout projects (SAP environment preferred, especially modules touching Intralogistics/EWM, Logistics, or Operations).
• Certifications: PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner, Agile certifications (Scrum, SAFe) are a plus.
• Methodology: Proven experience working within formal Stage-Gate / Phase-Gate governance frameworks.
• Communication: Exceptional English skills (written and spoken) with strong cross-cultural stakeholder management abilities.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel periodically across Europe and internationally based on project needs.
