Schaeffler, a global technology company, seeks a Finance Controlling Lead in Wroclaw to drive budgeting, forecasting and cost analysis within IT product lines. You will partner with cross-functional teams and senior management on financial planning and governance.

In this role you will shape framework conditions for budgeting, monitor variances, and provide strategic financial insights. Hybrid work model with opportunities for global collaboration and growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• Several years of leadership experience.
• Experience in Controlling or financial analysis and budgeting, preferably with IT finance exposure.
• Fluency in Polish, German and English (B2+).

Responsabilités

• Support Product Line Management in all actuals, forecasting, and budgeting activities related to finance and FTE.
• Contribute to strategic discussions and define framework conditions for budget planning.
• Prepare and execute functional budgeting and planning processes for the Enterprise Applications Product Line.
• Monitor budget adherence and analyze deviations.
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on costs, forecasts, and budgets, providing qualified advice on cost developments.
• Act as a financial consultant to functional management on all financial topics as needed.
• Assist Product Line Management and IT Product Owners in contract negotiations, procurement, and system/provider selection for new applications.
• Perform project controlling and status reporting, organize team workshops, and coordinate cross-product owner activities.
• Track workforce budget for internal and external FTE.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Supporting Product Line Management in all actuals, forecasting, and budgeting activities related to finance and FTE
• Contributing to strategic discussions and defining framework conditions for budget planning
• Preparing and executing functional budgeting and planning processes for the Enterprise Applications Product Line
• Monitoring budget adherence and analyzing deviations
• Preparing regular and ad-hoc reports on costs, forecasts, and budgets, and providing qualified advice on cost developments
• Acting as a financial consultant to functional management on all financial topics as needed
• Assisting Product Line Management and IT Product Owners in contract negotiations, procurement, and system/provider selection for new applications

• Tracking workforce budget for internal and external FTE

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Few years of leadership experience with a strong leadership mindset
• Few years of professional experience in Controlling or in financial analysis and budgeting processes - experience in forecasting and variance analysis is preferred, ideally with exposure to IT finance
• Fluency in Polish, German and English, with a minimum of B2 level proficiency
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, internal customers, and global teams
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) is advantageous
