Job summary

Schaeffler invites you to join our Finance internship in Wroclaw, where you will support the finance team with e-invoicing, invoicing verification, and reporting. You will work with SAP and ICR, helping automate processes and improve templates while gaining practical experience in a global engineering company.

You will collaborate with colleagues in a hybrid setting, participate in team meetings, and contribute to audit-ready documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Finance Team with handling financial documents and e-invoicing.
• Verify active invoices, vendor details, amounts and POs.
• Utilize financial systems and tools, notably ICR.
• Produce reports on document processing activities using tech.
• Support month-end close by reviewing open items and reconciling balances.
• Improve reporting templates and Excel-based tools.
• Participate in weekly and monthly Finance team meetings.
• Prepare and verify documentation for audits.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the Finance Team in efficiently managing financial documents by receiving, reviewing, and ensuring their completeness, with a focus on e-invoicing processes and related documentation
• Conducting thorough verification of active invoices, including vendor details, amounts, and purchase orders
• Utilizing financial systems and advanced tools, particularly Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR)
• Executing reporting tasks that highlight activities related to processed documents, leveraging technological solutions for accuracy and productivity
• Assisting in prioritizing and executing key financial tasks within the team, such as reviewing suppliers\' open items, verifying vendor payments, and reconciling account balances during the month-end close process
• Driving improvements in existing reporting templates and tools, primarily using Excel
• Engaging actively in weekly and monthly team meetings
• Preparing and verifying documentation for audit purposes, ensuring compliance and accuracy in administrative procedures

Your Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a degree
• Fluency in English and/or German, with a minimum of B2 level proficiency
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Strong interest in finance processes, particularly in the areas of automation and technological enhancements
• Innovative mindset focused on automation and process improvement
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Keen interest in developing expertise with finance tools like SAP and advanced applications such as ICR
