Job summary

Bosch in Warsaw is seeking a student intern to join an international development team working on core internal applications, using Agile methodologies. You will contribute to the full software lifecycle, from requirements to deployment, and collaborate with experienced developers and architects.

We welcome 2-4 year IT students, able to commit 30 hours per week and work in a hybrid office model in Warsaw. Strong Java knowledge and English skills are required, with mentorship and flexible

Qualifications

• Current IT student (2-4 years).
• Available for 30 hours per week.
• Experience in Java with Springboot, Hibernate, REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Agile (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience with unit testing (JUnit, Jupiter, Mockito).
• Familiarity with Git / Git Flow.
• Understand SOLID, Clean Code and TDD.
• Strong English skills.

Responsibilities

Job Description

You will be part of an international development team working on one of the core Internal Bosch applications, using Agile methodology.

Your tasks will include:

• Maintaining, improving and extending the current software stack with new functionalities,
• Involvement in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to design, implementation, testing and deployment.
• Collaboration with developers, process experts, architects and technical contacts of related systems.
• Participating in code reviews, mentoring junior developers and ensuring best practices in software development.

Qualifications

• Current Student of 2-4 year of IT fields
• Availability of 30 hours per week
• Experience in Java (including Springboot, Hibernate, web services, REST, APIs)
• Knowledge of Agile (Scrum, Kanban)
• Knowledge of unit testing (Junit, Jupiter, Mockito)
• Basic understanding of Git / Git Flow
• Knowledge of: SOLID and Clean Code Test Driven Development
• Self-motivated, initiative-taking, flexibility
• Ability to work in a virtual team with different experts
• Good knowledge of English
• End-to-end thinking
