Job summary

Bosch in Warsaw is seeking an AI Applications Intern to support the development of AI-powered tools and dashboards. You will work with Python, React, and modern AI technologies in a collaborative, international team.

You will gain hands-on experience across backend and frontend development, code reviews, testing, and documentation, while contributing to real projects with real impact.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in CS, software engineering, AI, or data science.
• Solid Python knowledge with clean, maintainable coding style.
• Basic web tech: HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frontend fundamentals.
• Experience with React and component-based development.
• Git and version control fundamentals.
• Understand OOP, SOLID, unit testing and clean code.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable communicating in English and Polish (B2).
• Available to work at least 25 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Support development of AI-powered applications and tools.
• Design UI using React and modern frontend tech.
• Develop simple Python backend components and scripts.

Are you passionate about Artificial Intelligence and eager to gain hands-on experience building modern applications powered by Large Language Models (LLMs)? Join our AI team and help create innovative solutions at the intersection of backend and frontend development.

As an AI Application Intern, you will support the development of AI-powered tools, dashboards, and agentic solutions used by internal stakeholders. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will gain practical experience in Python, React, software engineering best practices, and modern AI technologies while contributing to real projects with real impact.

Your Responsibilities

• Supporting the development of AI-powered applications and tools.
• Designing and implementing user interfaces using React and modern frontend technologies.
• Developing simple backend components and scripts in Python.
• Integrating frontend applications with backend services and APIs.
• Collaborating with team members using Git and version control best practices.
• Participating in code reviews, testing activities, and technical discussions.
• Supporting the development of LLM-based and agentic solutions.
• Assisting in documenting solutions, processes, and application functionality.
• Contributing to application quality through manual and automated testing activities.

Qualifications

• Are currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
• Have solid foundational knowledge of Python, including data structures, programming fundamentals, and writing clean, maintainable code.
• Have a basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend development principles.
• Have initial experience with React or a similar frontend framework, including component-based development and basic state management.
• Have practical experience using Git and understand version control fundamentals (commit, push, pull, branching, merging).
• Understand fundamental software engineering concepts such as: Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, Unit Testing, Clean Code practices.
• Have good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Are comfortable communicating in English and Polish (minimum B2 level).
• Are available to work at least 25 hours per week.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI Agent frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar.
• Practical experience working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, etc.).
• Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts and architectures.
• Knowledge of Prompt Engineering techniques, including prompt design, testing, and optimization.
• Familiarity with SQL databases or vector databases such as Qdrant.
• Experience with Manual testing/Automated testing/Selenium
