Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking an IT Engineer I to provide on-site end-user support, troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues, and maintain workplace technology in a global IT environment.

You will collaborate with local and global teams, deploy and configure IT equipment, perform patch management, and document procedures to ensure system security and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience providing hands-on IT support in a corporate environment.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, mobile device support, and endpoint technologies.
• Preferred: knowledge of the Windows Server environment and Active Directory.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support for end users, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Support and maintain end-user technologies including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, video conferencing systems, and Microsoft-based workplace solutions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical incidents, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimize business disruption.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain IT equipment and workplace technologies in accordance with global standards, policies, and security requirements.
• Perform system maintenance activities including software updates, patch management, asset management, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with users, global IT teams, and external vendors to support daily operations and IT projects.
• Other relevant duties as assigned.
