ALTEN Polska, a leading engineering and IT services company, is seeking a middle-level IT/Data Analyst to join our data governance team in Poland. You will work on metadata management, data analysis, and documentation review to support a comprehensive data catalog.

Responsibilities include extracting metadata from banking system documentation, collaborating with system analysts, and profiling data across multiple sources. Strong communication with business and technical stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an IT/Data Analyst.
• Strong metadata and documentation skills.
• Experience analyzing information from diverse systems.
• Excellent communication with business and technical stakeholders.
• Preferred experience in the financial sector.
• Knowledge of data modeling and GenAI.

We seek a middle-level IT/Data Analyst with strong expertise in metadata management, data analysis, and documentation review. The ideal candidate brings a technical and analytical background in:

• Working with metadata and system documentation
• Analyzing information from various sources and systems

You will play a key role in:

• Supporting the completion of a data catalog with metadata descriptions (tables, columns)
• Reviewing banking system documentation to extract relevant metadata
• Collaborating with system analysts to gather missing information
• Profiling and analyzing data stored in specific columns when necessary
• Conducting conversations with business and technical stakeholders to obtain required details

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of experience as a IT/Data Analyst
• Strong ability to work with metadata and documentation
• Experience in analyzing information from diverse systems
• Excellent communication skills to engage with business and technical stakeholders
• Preferred experience in the financial sector
• Preferred skills in data modeling
• Preferred knowledge of GenAI solutions
