Job summary

Alliad is seeking an on-site IT support professional to provide end-user, infrastructure and security-focused services for contract operations. You will ensure availability of contractor IT equipment, networks and reporting systems, and support after-hours requirements to maintain operational continuity.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in enterprise IT support, strong English communication, and knowledge of cybersecurity, backups and access control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure and users.
• Functional English appropriate to the role.
• STANAG 6001 profile 3332 or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain and support contractor-owned computers, printers, scanners, network devices and communication equipment.
• Provide general administrative support and undertake any additional administrative duties required for the effective operation of the project, as assigned by the Project Manager.
• Provide first-line technical support to project personnel and record, prioritize and resolve service requests.
• Maintain availability of project reporting, document-management, inventory, finance, HR and operational systems used for contract delivery.
• Administer authorized user accounts, access permissions, passwords and device-security controls.
• Monitor network and internet connectivity and coordinate restoration with approved service providers.
• Perform scheduled backups, test data recovery and protect operational data in accordance with company requirements.
• Maintain IT and communications asset registers, equipment assignments, software licences and maintenance records.
• Apply cybersecurity, malware protection, patching and acceptable-use controls and promptly report suspected incidents.
• Support secure preparation, storage and transmission of contract reports and operational records.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, peripheral, network and telecommunications faults and elevate unresolved issues.
• Coordinate approved IT procurement, equipment replacement, warranty support and technical service visits.
• Provide user guidance and basic training on approved systems, data protection and cybersecurity practices.
• Support emergency and after-hours technical requirements necessary to maintain operational continuity.
• Implement 'Performance Management the Alliad Way' by setting KPl's for direct reports (when applicable), conduct regular reviews, identify training requirements and provide a coaching, mentoring and supportive role.
• Ensures adherence to quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements in Food Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, and Environment.
