Job summary

Amentum seeks an IT Manager to support a government contract on Diego Garcia. The role involves leading IT operations for facilities O&M, coordinating with KO, COR and partner agencies, and ensuring compliance with PWS and security requirements.

The ideal candidate has CCNP/CCDP/CCIE and Microsoft certifications, Navy standards experience, and at least three years in systems management, including leadership in austere, multinational environments. On-call readiness is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; two years of related experience may substitute for each year of college
• CCNP, CCDP, CCIE certifications are required
• MCSA, MCDST and MCP certifications for local system/app management
• Experience with US Navy standards is strongly preferred
• Proven customer service and help desk experience
• Minimum three years in systems management
• Experience in a leadership role in a multi-national austere OCONUS environment
• Familiarity with USG, PWS and program requirements

Responsibilities

• Manage IT support and IT management organization
• Interface with KO, COR and organizations to meet requirements
• Ensure compliance with PWS, programs and international guidelines
• Provide on-call support 24/7 as needed
