Amer Sports Global Business Services is looking for a mid‑level Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) Business Analyst to join the Process Excellence Hub and support automation initiatives across the organization.
What you will be doing:
- Partner with process owners and stakeholders to identify and assess automation opportunities
- Analyse and map business processes, evaluating their automation and AI potential
- Translate business needs into clear, structured functional requirements for developers and IT teams
- Support end‑to‑end delivery of IPA / RPA initiatives – from discovery to implementation
- Contribute to business case evaluation and value assessment of automation solutions
- Ensure solutions are compliant with cybersecurity, audit, and control requirements
- Define and execute test scenarios, ensuring quality, stability, and proper error handling
- Support go‑live activities, testing follow‑ups, and root cause analysis of issues
- Monitor existing automations and act as 1st‑line support, driving continuous improvement
- Maintain high‑quality documentation and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders
- Contribute to building standards and best practices for intelligent automation within PEx
What you need to succeed:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar Business Analyst, automation, or process improvement role
- Hands‑on experience with RPA solutions (mandatory)
- Practical experience with automation and scripting technologies such as UiPath, BluePrism, VBA, SAP Scripting, Microsoft Power Platform, and SharePoint
- Knowledge of SAP systems and understanding of finance processes
- Familiarity with AI technologies applied to process automation, including GenAI tools for personal productivity
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to perform process analysis and process mapping
- Basic project management skills, including structured documentation and coordination across teams
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and change management principles
- Familiarity with compliance and control frameworks (e.g. SOX, ITGC)
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into clear requirements
- Team‑oriented mindset combined with a proactive, solution‑driven approach
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
- Basic knowledge of, or certifications in, Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies (nice to have)
