Job summary

Amer Sports is seeking an IPA/RPA Business Analyst in Krakow as part of the Global Business Services Hybrid. You will bridge business stakeholders and IT, identify automation opportunities, and translate needs into scalable solutions across end-to-end automation delivery.

You will analyze processes, document requirements, support testing, go-live, and continuous improvement, while ensuring compliance and effective communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar Business Analyst, automation, or process improvement role.
• Hands-on experience with RPA solutions.
• Experience with UiPath, Blue Prism, VBA, SAP Scripting, Power Platform, and SharePoint.
• Knowledge of SAP systems and finance processes.
• Familiarity with AI for process automation, including GenAI tools.
• Strong analytical and process-mapping skills.
• Basic project management and SDLC/change management understanding.
• SOX/ITGC familiarity.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Lean/Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.

IPA / RPA Business Analyst role overview:

The position is part of Amer Sports Global Business Services Hybrid in Krakow. The candidate will join the Process Excellence Hub and support automation initiatives across the organization. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, identifying automation opportunities and translating business needs into effective, scalable solutions. You’ll be involved end‑to‑end – from discovery and analysis through implementation and ongoing support – playing an active role in shaping how intelligent automation is delivered across the business.

What you will be doing:

• Partner with process owners and stakeholders to identify and assess automation opportunities
• Analyse and map business processes, evaluating their automation and AI potential
• Translate business needs into clear, structured functional requirements for developers and IT teams
• Support end‑to‑end delivery of IPA / RPA initiatives – from discovery to implementation
• Contribute to business case evaluation and value assessment of automation solutions
• Ensure solutions are compliant with cybersecurity, audit, and control requirements
• Define and execute test scenarios, ensuring quality, stability, and proper error handling
• Support go‑live activities, testing follow‑ups, and root cause analysis of issues
• Monitor existing automations and act as 1st‑line support, driving continuous improvement
• Maintain high‑quality documentation and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders
• Contribute to building standards and best practices for intelligent automation within PEx

What you need to succeed:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar Business Analyst, automation, or process improvement role
• Hands‑on experience with RPA solutions (mandatory)
• Practical experience with automation and scripting technologies such as UiPath, BluePrism, VBA, SAP Scripting, Microsoft Power Platform, and SharePoint
• Knowledge of SAP systems and understanding of finance processes
• Familiarity with AI technologies applied to process automation, including GenAI tools for personal productivity
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to perform process analysis and process mapping
• Basic project management skills, including structured documentation and coordination across teams
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and change management principles
• Familiarity with compliance and control frameworks (e.g. SOX, ITGC)
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a dynamic environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into clear requirements
• Team‑oriented mindset combined with a proactive, solution‑driven approach
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
• Basic knowledge of, or certifications in, Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies (nice to have)
