Job summary

Hitachi, Ltd. seeks an experienced QA Lead to own E2E testing for smart home IoT devices, including sensors, cameras, doorbells, and hubs.

You will create master test strategies, drive parallel testing tracks, and ensure delivery across hardware, firmware, apps, and cloud services. You will lead a cross-functional team, communicate with global stakeholders, and mentor engineers in both manual and automated testing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Quality Assurance with 2+ years in a lead/manager role in IoT or embedded devices.
• Hands-on E2E IoT testing across hardware, firmware, cloud, and apps.
• Proven ability to plan and drive parallel test tracks across distributed teams.
• Experience creating Master Test Strategies, Plans, and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end testing lifecycle for smart home IoT products across hardware, firmware, app, and cloud layers.
• Design and maintain scalable Test Strategies and Master Test Plans with detailed test cases.
• Lead manual and automated testing efforts, ensuring coverage and on-time delivery.
• Identify root causes and drive resolution with cross-functional teams.
