Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking an experienced Embedded QA / IoT Testing Engineer to join an international team delivering bespoke embedded systems for next-generation multimedia IoT devices. You will define high-level test strategies, drive planning, and focus on hardware/software integration, stability, and performance.

You will lead QA initiatives across teams, mentor engineers, and ensure quality processes are followed through a Linux-based embedded ecosystem and custom Linux distributions.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in embedded hardware/software and IoT device testing.
• Define test strategies, write test plans, establish QA standards.
• Lead QA initiatives and mentor engineers.
• Experience with Linux-based embedded devices and scripting in Python/Bash.
• Excellent command of English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Drive QA initiatives and lead the overall test strategy for the embedded platform.
• Design, implement, and deploy automated and system tests for embedded/IoT devices.
• Develop test automation solutions for Linux system software and applications.
• Perform performance monitoring and stability testing under load and stress.
• Monitor subsystems for memory leaks, crashes, and bottlenecks.
• Log and track defects and integration issues.
