Job summary

Air Liquide Engineering & Construction is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for large-scale petrochemical and refinery projects. You will prepare SLDs, protection and control schematics, terminal connection diagrams, and wiring layouts for complex facilities.

You will perform calculations (short circuit, power balance, cable sizing, lighting) and coordinate with clients, vendors and multidisciplinary teams worldwide, supporting procurement, FAT, construction

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering within an EPC environment.
• Experience on refinery, chemical, oil & gas, and power generation projects.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
• ETAP or similar power system analysis software is a plus.
• Ability to work independently on proposals and project execution.

Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for petrochemical, refinery and industrial projects
• Prepare engineering documentation including:Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
• Protection & Control Schematics
• Terminal Connection Diagrams
• Cable Routing Layouts
• Grounding & Lightning Protection Drawings
• Perform electrical calculations, including:Short Circuit Studies
• Power Balance Calculations

• Grounding & Earthing Calculations
• Coordinate interfaces with clients, vendors and multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Review and verify vendor documentation and technical specifications
• Support procurement activities through preparation of inquiry packages and technical evaluations
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
• Support construction and commissioning activities when required
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements and industry standards

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience within an engineering or EPC environment as an Electrical Engineer
• Experience in industrial projects such as:

  • Power Generation
• Strong knowledge of:
  • AutoCAD
  • MS Office
• Familiarity with ETAP or other Power System Analysis software is considered an advantage
• Ability to work independently on proposal and project execution activities
• Experience coordinating vendors, suppliers, manufacturers and client representatives
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Willingness to work in an international and multicultural environment
• Availability for occasional short- and long-term travel to engineering centres and project sites worldwide
