Job summary

NES Fircroft Kraków is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for design of electrical systems in petrochemical and refinery sectors. The role requires completing project documentation and collaborating with the Project Lead Engineer.

You will perform electrical calculations, prepare layouts and installation drawings, and contribute to materials take-off. Fluent English and hands-on proficiency with AutoCAD, Dialux, and MS Office are expected, with advantageous knowledge of SmartPlant 3D or

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years experience in a plant engineering company as an Electrical Engineer.
• Coordination with the Project Lead Engineer; ability to work independently.
• Fluent in English.
• Knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, Dialux.
• ETAP or other power system analysis software knowledge beneficial.
• Oil & Gas industry experience beneficial.
• Experience in preparation of documentation and drawings from 3D models using SmartPlant 3D or E3D.

Responsibilities

• Design of Electrical System for petrochemical and refinery industry.
• Prepare project documentation including project specifications, one line diagrams, protection and control schematic diagrams, terminal connection diagrams, substation layouts.
• Execute electrical calculations including short circuit calculations, power balance, cable calculations, lighting intensity calculations, grounding and lightning protection calculations.
• Prepare layout drawings (consumer location, cable tray routing, lighting, grounding).
• Prepare installation typicals and Material Take-off.
• Development into Senior Electrical Design Engineer.
• Experience in hazardous area classification would be an additional advantage.

Job description

• Reporting to and coordination with the Project Lead Engineer
• Ability to work independently
• Fluent in English
• Computer skills, knowledge of applications such as MS Office, ACAD, Dialux,
• ETAP software or other power system analysis software knowledge would be beneficial,
• Eager to work in a multi-cultural team
• Experience in Oil&Gas industry would be beneficial
• Experience in Preparation of documentation and drawings on the base of 3D model using SmartPlant 3D or E3D
