Job summary

Aptiv Kraków is offering a ME role focused on mechanical development of automotive active and passive safety products. You will support concept development based on customer specs, assist in BOM creation, CAD modeling, and evaluate design concepts end-to-end.

This position requires at least 20 hours per week, a basic understanding of production processes, and good English communication. It offers hybrid work and a supportive environment with health and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Availability of at least 20 hours per week.
• Basic understanding of production processes (plastic injection, die cast, …).
• Interpersonal, verbal and written communication in English.

• Support ME to develop concepts based on customer specs, internal goals and standards.
• Help to create a detailed BOM for cost evaluation.
• Assist in creation of CAD model and ME input to layout study.
• Rating existing and developing new design concepts.

Your Role:

• Support ME to develop concept based on customer specification, internal goals (ex. cost target, time constraints), standards and known manufacturing technologies.

• Help to create detailed BOM (component list with assigned material) for cost evaluation.

• Assist in creation of CAD Model, ME input to layout study.

• Rating existing and developing new design concepts.

Your Background:

• Basic understanding of production processes (plastic injection, die cast, …)

• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.

• Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in English.
