Job summary

Aptiv Kraków is seeking a hands-on engineer to plan and prepare prototype samples per the requestor's description. You will perform tests and verifications to determine optimal product parameters and ensure compliance with customer specifications and applicable standards.

You will prepare dispatch documents, compile reports, and verify prototypes built by others, while maintaining thorough documentation and workshop equipment.

Qualifications

• BSc degree in technical or science field.
• Good command of English.
• Manual skills in mechanical/electrical work.
• Knowledge in electrical metrology.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Able to work under time pressure to meet deadlines.
• Analytical, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare prototype samples per requestor description.

Your Role

• Plan & prepare prototype samples in accordance with description from requestor
• Perform tests and verifications to determine optimal product parameters.
• Perform tests in accordance with customer specification / international standards / per requestor needs
• Preparation of documents for the dispatch of prototypes
• Prepare reports if needed & verify prepared by others,
• Verify quality of prototypes built by others
• Maintain documentation related to prototypes
• Maintain workshop equipment

Your background

• BSc degree in technical of science area
• Good command of English
• Manual skills related to mechanical / electrical activities
• Knowledge in area of electrical metrology
• Good knowledge of MS Office, in particular MS Excel
• Working acc. to all Aptiv values
• Mobility / Willing to travel as required / Business trip on demands
• Ability to work under time pressure to meet deadlines
