Job summary

Aptiv Poland is seeking a senior electronics engineer to design and validate analog and digital circuits for automotive applications, with a focus on manufacturability, cost optimization and reliability. You will create and maintain schematics, PCB layouts, electrical specifications and technical reports, run simulations, prototype tests, and analyze results.

Job description

Your Role:

• Design and develop electronic devices for advanced automotive applications with focus on cost optimization, high reliability, and manufacturability.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation including schematics, PCB designs, electrical specifications, and technical reports.
• Perform circuit calculations, simulations, prototype validation, testing, and result analysis.
• Ensure on-time execution of development activities in compliance with Aptiv quality standards and engineering processes.
• Collaborate closely with local and global cross-functional engineering teams.
• Actively participate in design reviews and technical discussions, providing expert-level input and recommendations.
• Drive compliance with the Electrical Design Process and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical mentoring and guidance to engineers, contributing to team development and knowledge sharing.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in selected areas of electrical engineering.
• Support project and team leadership activities when required.

Your background:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing and testing analog and digital electronic circuits, including microcontroller-based systems.
• Strong knowledge of signal measurement techniques and medium-power analog circuit design.
• Hands‑on experience with EMI/EMC-compliant electronic design.
• Practical experience with CAD tools, PCB design, and circuit simulation software.
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within international engineering teams.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.

Nice to have:

• Master's Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience leading technical activities, projects, or engineering teams.
• Knowledge of automotive development standards and processes.
• Experience working in a global automotive environment.
