ERGO Technology & Services S.A. (ET&S) in Poland seeks a data-focused Insurance Data Analyst to join our Warsaw or Gdansk teams. You will validate and transform insurance data, ensure completeness, and collaborate with cross-border partners.

Qualifications

• Fluency in German and English on B2 level.
• Experience in insurance administration and working with MGAs/brokers and bordereaux.
• Understanding of premium, tax and commission processes; intermediary accounts and currency handling.
• Strong MS Excel skills and familiarity with ERGO systems for bordereaux.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail, four eyes controls and documentation.
• Independent, reliable worker who meets processing deadlines.
• Team-oriented with good communication for internal/external partners.
• High sense of responsibility and compliance with audit requirements.

How you will get the job done

• analyzing insurance transaction data and verifying its completeness and accuracy
• validating financial information received from brokers and business partners
• processing premiums, commissions, fees, and taxes while ensuring data consistency
• investigating data discrepancies, identifying root causes, and driving issue resolution
• monitoring data quality and performing reconciliation activities across multiple systems
• transforming complex insurance information into accurate and reliable records
• working with large volumes of data and supporting process optimization initiatives

Skills and experience you will need

• fluency in German and English on B2 level
• experience in insurance administration (Commercial & Industrial; preferably Transport) and in working with MGAs/brokers and their bordereaux
• solid understanding of premium, insurance tax and commission processes, incl. intermediary accounts and basic foreign currency handling
• confident use of ERGO systems relevant for bordereaux and very good MS Excel skills
• strong analytical skills and attention to detail in checking premiums, taxes, commissions and claims; ability to apply tolerance rules and four eyes controls and document results
• independent, reliable working style with ability to prioritize and meet processing deadlines (e.g. before next bordereau, quarter/year end)
• team orientation and strong communication skills for cooperation with internal and external partners
• high sense of responsibility and compliance with internal work instructions and audit requirements
