Job summary

Solid Company in Kraków is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead infrastructure transformation and lifecycle management initiatives across a global technology environment.

You will oversee end-to-end delivery, develop integrated project plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage governance and budgets, and prepare executive status reports. Fluent English and Polish are required; experience with Clarity and Excel is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong experience managing technology infrastructure projects in data centres, storage, or core infra.
• End-to-end project delivery in complex, global environments.
• Coordination of matrixed teams without direct line management.
• Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance management.
• Governance, RAID, dependency tracking, and change control experience.
• Proficiency with Clarity and Excel for planning and reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical topics to senior stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and Polish.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure projects end-to-end, managing scope, timelines, resources, quality, and delivery outcomes.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, and cross-team dependencies.
• Coordinate global teams, internal stakeholders, and external delivery partners.
• Manage project governance, risks, issues, dependencies, change control, and escalations.
• Prepare executive-level status reports and updates for senior stakeholders and steering committees.
• Manage project budgets, financial forecasts, expenditure tracking, and variance reporting.
• Use Clarity and Excel to maintain project plans, financial data, resource information, and reporting.
• Coordinate implementation, cutover, and operational handover activities.
• Ensure operational readiness, documentation, support arrangements, and acceptance criteria are in place.
• Drive stakeholder alignment and ensure compliance with technology governance and control requirements.

• Strong financial management skills, including forecasting, budget tracking, and variance management
• Experience with project governance, RAID management, dependency tracking, and change control
• Proficiency in Clarity and Excel, including project planning and reporting
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to senior stakeholders
• Fluent in English and Polish

Nice to have

• Experience with infrastructure evergreening, hardware refresh, and technology lifecycle management
• Experience with data centre moves, rationalisation, resilience improvements, or storage migrations
• Experience working with Infrastructure, Architecture, Security, Risk, Finance, and Service Management teams
• Knowledge of operational readiness, implementation planning, and service transition practices
