Job summary

Fluence, a global leader in energy storage and software solutions, is seeking a Senior Portfolio Finance Manager in Poland. You will orchestrate the commercial and financial aspects of infrastructure projects using SAP, Unifier, and related systems.

You will partner with project managers and contractors to ensure budgets, forecasts, and VAT/tax compliance, delivering transparent financial reporting and driving project profitability across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, (international) finance, business administration, or equivalent training.
• PMP certification is advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years' experience managing construction projects and long-term service contracts (energy industry experience preferred).
• Comprehensive understanding of project lifecycle activities and financial implications.
• Exceptional attention to detail with superior time and project management capabilities.
• Advanced contract management skills with negotiation experience.
• Proficiency with SAP, Unifier and other corporate financial systems.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Fluency in English and Polish.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project contract administration and streamline processes for financial transparency.
• Partner with project managers to provide real-time visibility into budgets and financial performance.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and maintenance providers to meet timelines.
• Apply contract management to document review, change orders, and risk analysis.
• Analyze purchase requisitions and invoices.
• Lead project reviews from initiation to close-out with thorough reporting and forecasting.
• Enhance profitability through change orders and supplier claims management.
• Communicate financial insights to project teams.
• Maintain budget integrity and monthly accruals.
• Ensure VAT, customs duties and tax compliance for projects.
