Job summary

Fluence Energy in Poland is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to translate customer requirements into optimized energy storage solutions and compelling technical proposals. You will guide customers through the sales process as a trusted technical advisor, support contract negotiations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver turnkey energy storage projects across the EMEA region.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
Minimum of two years of experience in the power industry.
Ability to analyze complex technical challenges and communicate solutions clearly.
Experience with offer management and/or technical contract review.
Experience using CRM tools and engineering software such as Salesforce and CAD.
Experience in energy storage, solar, power generation, or industrial balance of plant environments incl. EPC.
Understanding of local standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
Entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities.
Ownership mindset with drive to close opportunities.
Excellent coordination, collaboration, and communication skills.
Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Partner with EMEA Sales teams to transform customer requirements into compelling energy storage solution proposals.
Build deep expertise in energy storage technologies and act as a trusted technical advisor.
Contribute to sales tools and support materials that drive business success.
Lead evaluation and selection of installation contractor proposals for turnkey delivery.
Collaborate with Sales teams to navigate technical aspects of customer contracts.
Capture customer requirements and translate them into insights for product roadmaps.
Support system designs that meet local codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Identify technical deviations and coordinate across teams to resolve them.
Travel throughout EMEA, engaging with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
