Job summary

Software Mind is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead infrastructure and IT operations initiatives for Western European enterprise clients. You will own delivery from scope to sign-off, coordinating architects, engineers and stakeholders across Europe.

The role requires 5+ years of IT project management experience, familiarity with hybrid delivery models, and strong English communication (C1). Jira and Confluence are used for tracking, and you will manage budgets, risks and client

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing IT projects, including 3+ years in infrastructure/IT operations or cloud projects.
• Delivery experience in operations automation, patch/vulnerability management, observability, virtualization or private/public cloud.
• Projects delivered in both on-premises and public cloud with hybrid constraints.
• Fixed price delivery experience with scope control and change management.
• Experience running steering committees and managing stakeholders at management level.
• Ability to discuss architecture, automation and monitoring tooling with engineers without performing engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of assigned infrastructure and IT operations projects, including scope, schedule, budget and quality.
• Maintain the project plan, responsibility matrix, risk register and reporting to client and internal stakeholders.
• Control scope against the statement of work and assess change requests and impact.
• Steer the project team with the solution architect and technical leads and manage capacity.
• Run steering committees and status reviews, escalating decisions and managing client expectations.
• Coordinate delivery with client change and release management, including maintenance windows and production teams.
• Manage acceptance: criteria, testing and formal sign-off of delivered scope.
• Hand the delivered environment over to managed service operation with operating model and SLAs.
