Job summary

Extia in Poznań is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead global IT and ERP initiatives in manufacturing environments. You will drive end-to-end delivery, governance, and cross-border projects spanning Europe, North America, and Asia, with Stage-Gate methodologies and SAP ecosystem enhancements.

The role requires 5+ years in IT project management, SAP/ERP expertise, PMP or PRINCE2, and strong English communication. Travel may be required across Europe.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT Project Management experience in complex global manufacturing or industrial environments.
• ERP / SAP Knowledge: experience leading ERP implementation or rollout projects (SAP environment preferred).
• Certifications: PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner required; Agile certifications (Scrum, SAFe) are a plus.
• Methodology: experience with Stage-Gate / Phase-Gate governance frameworks.
• Communication: strong English skills with cross-cultural stakeholder management.

• Operational Execution: Drive day-to-day project activities, resource management, risk mitigation, and decision-making frameworks.

• Governance & Standards: Apply PMO methodologies, Stage-Gate delivery models, and transparent reporting for predictable execution.
• Supply Chain & Plant Solutions: Oversee IT initiatives supporting shop-floor operations, intralogistics, and ERP/SAP enhancements.

What You Will Be Doing

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: 5+ years of IT Project Management experience within complex, global manufacturing or industrial environments.
• ERP / SAP Knowledge: Demonstrated experience leading ERP implementation or rollout projects (SAP environment preferred, especially modules touching Intralogistics/EWM, Logistics, or Operations).
• Certifications: PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner required. Agile certifications (Scrum, SAFe) are a plus.
• Methodology: Proven experience working within formal Stage-Gate / Phase-Gate governance frameworks.
• Communication: Exceptional English skills (written and spoken) with strong cross-cultural stakeholder management abilities.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel periodically across Europe and internationally based on project needs.
