Job summary

Software Mind seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead infrastructure and IT operations projects for enterprise clients across Western Europe. You will oversee scope, schedule, budget and quality, coordinate with architects, engineers and clients, and drive change control and risk management in hybrid or remote settings.

You will collaborate with architects, manage steering committees and ensure smooth handover to managed service operations, including operating models and service levels.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years managing IT projects with a focus on infrastructure or IT operations.
• Delivery experience in operations automation, patch management, observability, or private/public cloud.
• Experience running steering committees and managing executive stakeholders.
• Ability to discuss architecture and monitoring tooling with engineers without doing the engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of assigned infrastructure and IT operations projects, including scope, schedule, budget and quality.
• Maintain the project plan, responsibility matrix, risk register and reporting to client and internal stakeholders.
• Control scope against the statement of work and manage change requests and commercial impact.
• Steer the project team with the solution architect and technical leads, managing capacity.
• Run steering committees and status reviews, accelerate decisions and manage client expectations.
• Coordinate delivery with change and release management, including maintenance windows.
• Manage acceptance criteria, testing and sign-off of delivered scope.
• Hand the delivered environment over to managed service operation with operating model and SLAs.
