Job summary

HSBC in Poland seeks a Project Manager to join the DevX Standards and Controls team. You will plan, mobilise and direct projects from definition to closure, coordinating with delivery managers and product owners to align with the wider change portfolio.

You will engage 1000 teams, drive adoption of a new tooling and process, and improve visibility, risk management and benefits realization across environments.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

This role is within the DevX (Developer Experience) Standards and Controls team within CTO (Chief Technology Office). We build solutions that help improve the engineering experience around controls compliance and standards. This is an exciting opportunity to build best in class solutions to benefit internal Technology customers. The candidate will be responsible for project managing an application enhancement and roll-out initiative. This role will involve liaising with lots of internal technology customers to understand and meet their needs as well as working with the development teams themselves to deliver a feasible plan. The new tool gives control teams better visibility over the deployment of software artifacts to different environments and builds a clearer picture of risk. The project will involve engaging 1000 teams and supporting their adoption of a new way of working whilst working with a delivery team to enhance the product.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Project managers in HSBC plan, mobilise and direct projects from project definition to closure. They are responsible for the end to end planning and delivery of one or more projects proactively balancing scope, schedule, budget, risks, team, outcomes and benefits. You will be responsible for working closely with the delivery managers and product owners to ensure alignment of their project with the wider change portfolio in Standards and Controls.
