T&S (Technology & Strategy) is seeking 3 Industrial Engineers to join one of our customer’s manufacturing plants in Lublin, Poland, Romania, or Slovakia. You will lead industrialization activities across the project lifecycle in an international automotive manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 2–5 years of experience in industrialization or manufacturing engineering.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).

Job description

We are looking for 3 Industrial Engineers to join one of our customer’s manufacturing plants located in Lublin, Poland (preferred location), Romania, or Slovakia. In this role, you will be responsible for leading industrialization activities throughout the entire project lifecycle, from project kick-off and prototype development to production launch, ramp-up, and continuous improvement in an international automotive manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Define and formalize industrialization activities with manufacturing plants during project kick-off meetings.
  • Review and validate project costing data, industrial objectives, budgets, and project schedules.
  • Develop and manage industrialization planning in coordination with Project Managers.
  • Prepare, monitor, justify, and manage CAPEX budgets and development resources.
  • Review customer specifications, analyze deviations, and capitalize on lessons learned from similar manufacturing processes.
  • Define manufacturing processes and logistics flows during project development phases.
  • Drive product manufacturability through process design and industrialization activities.
  • Organize and lead Process FMEA (PFMEA/AMDEC) workshops with plant representatives and cross-functional teams.
  • Identify process risks and establish corresponding validation and mitigation plans.
  • Prepare technical specifications, manage supplier consultations, and evaluate supplier proposals together with purchasing and technical experts.
  • Coordinate prototype builds, manufacturing trials, and production validation activities.
  • Assess product manufacturability and process robustness following prototype and serial production tests.
  • Manage equipment industrialization, acceptance, and commissioning activities with a strong focus on safety, ergonomics, repeatability, and cycle-time performance.
  • Lead action plans related to FMEA findings, error-proofing measures, and process validation activities.
  • Analyze process capability results with Quality and Plant teams.
  • Prepare production readiness activities, including Run@Rate and ramp-up phases.
  • Manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and coordinate the implementation of project modifications.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams and industrial stakeholders throughout the project.
  • Ensure monthly industrial reporting and KPI monitoring through project dashboards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and industrial lessons learned activities.
Required Qualifications
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrialization, or a related field.
  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing environments and industrial project management.
  • Knowledge of industrialization processes, production launches, and manufacturing validation activities.
  • Experience with CAPEX management, process planning, and equipment implementation.
  • Good understanding of Process FMEA (PFMEA/AMDEC), risk analysis, and process validation methodologies.
  • Experience working with suppliers, production plants, and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities.
  • Fluent English is mandatory, both written and spoken.
Nice-to-Have
  • Experience in the automotive or automotive supplier industry.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with production ramp-up and Run@Rate activities.
  • Familiarity with industrial equipment commissioning and manufacturing process validation.
  • Experience working within international manufacturing organizations.
  • Knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and other industrial quality tools.
  • Previous exposure to New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
  • Experience managing industrial lessons learned and continuous improvement projects.
