Job summary

Solaris Laser Sp. z o.o. seeks a Process Engineer to drive deployment of site manufacturing processes and industrialize new products. You will create instructions, BOMs, tooling, Poka Yoke and equipment for existing products, while collaborating with international teams.

You will lead cross-functional projects, define production processes, deploy SPC and PFMEA, and work with global contract manufacturers to optimize operations. Strong analytical skills and travel readiness are required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with at least 5 years in process engineering.
• Proven track record in developing manufacturing processes.
• Operational knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics and electronics.
• Fluent English (B2) and Polish.
• Willingness to travel internationally (5%).

Responsibilities

• Create and implement manufacturing instructions, BOMs and tooling for existing products.
• Lead or contribute to projects to ensure robust, efficient, documented processes.
• Define production processes for new products in relation to R&D requirements.
• Define and deploy SPC, PFMEA, and control plans for production lines.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers worldwide to optimize manufacturing infrastructure.
• Support NPI, labor, quality, capacity and schedule on track.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Provide status updates to management and other sites as needed.

Job description

As a Process Engineer , you will take part in the deployment of site manufacturing processes and the industrialization of new products.

What you will do:

• Create and implement Manufacturing instructions, manufacturing BOM, Tooling, Poka Yoke, Equipment’s for existing product
• Learn, develop PE marking technologies knowledge & competencies through strong connection with international PE team
• Lead and/or contribute to a variety of manufacturing projects, ensuring that the processes are robust, efficient, and properly documented. These could be for new product introductions (NPI) or engineering changes of our current products
• Perform summary of the status and achievements in relation to the project and regularly report to the high level of management team
• Define production process for new products in relation to R&D requirements and critical parameters to ensure robustness and repeatability of the production
• Define and deploy of SPC in relation to product and process requirements
• Work closely with our contract manufacturers (Globally) to support the operational activity & optimize the current manufacturing infrastructure
• Work in a global, cross-functional environment across multiple disciplines for effective execution
• Support the new product introduction in production: labor, quality, capacity and schedule on track
• Perform PFMEA’s and implement Control Plan for product and production line
• Perform Root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Support Manufacturing, Field Service and Repair Centers
• As part of Global organization, you will support other sites ad hoc

What you need to have:

• Degree in engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering in technical industry
• Proven experience in successful development of manufacturing processes
• Proven operational knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics and electronics
• Good knowledge of methodologies: Six Sigma, lean, DFM/DFA, PFMEA, SPC, DOE, etc.
• Good knowledge of CAD (Inventor& Creo)
• Knowledge of WindChill, JIRA, SAP would be an additional advantage
• Fluent in English (at least B2 level) and Polish
• Availability to travel internationally: 5%
