About the Role

Our client is an established international company operating in a high-technology industrial environment. As part of its continued growth and operational development, the organization is strengthening the leadership of one of its key manufacturing functions.

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Operations Manager to oversee production performance, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and drive continuous improvement within a complex manufacturing environment. The role combines people leadership, operational excellence, performance management, production planning, and structured problem solving.

CONTRACT: Permanent

LOCATIONS: On-site, Switzerland

NOTES: Fluent French and professional working English are required. Working in shifts - day, night, weekend.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day operations within a complex high-technology manufacturing environment.
  • Monitor production KPIs, analyze performance gaps, and implement corrective action plans.
  • Coordinate production, technical, maintenance, and support teams to ensure operational continuity.
  • Manage production capacity, staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Coach team leaders and support the development of operational teams.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and internal operating standards.
  • Lead structured problem-solving and root-cause analysis for significant operational issues.
  • Identify production bottlenecks and implement efficiency and process improvements.
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure appropriate follow-up of corrective actions.
  • Lead cross-functional continuous-improvement and operational-development projects.
  • Engineering degree or equivalent higher technical education.
  • At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial operations management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a high-precision, electronics, advanced manufacturing, or comparable industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and complex production flows.
  • Experience managing production KPIs, operational performance, and improvement initiatives.
  • Experience leading production teams and developing frontline managers or team leaders.
  • Fluent French and professional working proficiency in English.
  • Experience with industrial maintenance, production reliability, or similar technical operations is an advantage.
