Job summary

Abiomed, part of Johnson & Johnson MedTech, is seeking a Therapy Development Consultant to drive adoption of Impella and Heart Recovery therapies across Poznań/Bydgoszcz/Gdańsk in Poland. The role requires training clinicians, expanding physician skills, and delivering enhanced therapeutic value.

The position involves field-based work with hospital staff, intensive product demonstrations, and collaboration with cardiology centers to advance care standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or advanced degree.
• Proficiency in Polish and fluent knowledge of English.
• Minimum 2 years in medical devices with cardiovascular focus; heart failure preferred.
• Experience in direct patient support in Cath Lab/ICU/CCU preferred.
• Proven track record launching high-value therapies and achieving growth.
• Established relationships with Interventional Cardiologists and Cath Lab staff in Poland preferred.
• Ability to travel 80%+ within region required.

Responsibilities

• Therapy Development: establish Impella & Heart Recovery as standard of care in Poland; train MDs and hospital staff on use of Impella.
• Account Management/Account Training: support patient growth and clinical performance in key centers; coordinate strategy with partners; lead clinical activities and case reporting.
• Patient Support: improve outcomes by implementing Abiomed clinical strategies; support staff in cath lab, OR and ICU; plan regular site visits and data collection.
