Job summary

Kairos is seeking an operations generalist to own the end‑to‑end delivery of three‑day residential workshops focused on AI safety and biosecurity. You will manage outreach, venues, travel, admissions, and guest coordination, while helping scale our systems and playbooks for broader programs.

You’ll travel to workshops in the UK and US, support in‑person delivery, and contribute to strategy across GCP and other Kairos initiatives, growing with the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering workshops, conferences, or similar events.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams with deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own operational workstreams end to end for each workshop, including outreach, venue contracts, catering, travel, inventory, and on‑site logistics.
• Run admissions and participant operations, from forms to onboarding communications.
• Coordinate guests and manage invitations, confirmations, and follow-ups.
• Deliver workshops in person, traveling to UK/US events and supporting on‑site delivery.
• Build scalable systems using Notion, Airtable, Linear, and automation tooling.
• Help shape Kairos workshop strategy across programs and teams.
• Contribute to other Kairos programs like SPAR and Pathfinder when capacity allows.
