Job summary

Commerzbank is seeking a Specialist Test Automation Engineer for flexhub in Łódź. You will architect scalable test frameworks, mentor engineers, and resolve complex automation challenges using Java and CI/CD, ensuring long-term maintainability and quality.

You will collaborate with multiple teams across the bank, contribute to critical initiatives, and drive adoption of advanced testing tools while maintaining high standards and efficient workflows.

Qualifications

• LoadRunner experience.
• Experience building automated testing frameworks.
• Proficiency in Java for robust automation solutions.
• Hands-on with Selenium WebDriver for browser testing.
• SQL for data validation and backend testing.
• Git for version control and collaboration.
• API testing with Postman and RestAssured.
• Fluent in English and Polish (B2 level).

Responsibilities

• Architect and build critical test frameworks supporting multiple teams.
• Define contract testing strategy between microservices.
• Solve complex synchronization and parallel execution issues.
• Establish quality gates in the pipeline and ensure standards.
• Guide the team during technical planning and resolve blockers.

As a Specialist Test Automation Engineer at flexhub, you drive the technical quality and architecture of our test frameworks. You architect scalable solutions, mentor junior colleagues, and solve the most difficult automation challenges we face. Your deep expertise in Java and CI/CD allows you to make decisions that ensure long-term maintainability. You are the technical anchor your team relies on.

Your main tasks are:

• Implementation: Solve complex synchronization and parallel execution issues.

• Documentation: Write architectural decision records (ADRs) to track important framework choices.

Your Profile

• Proficiency in using Java for creating robust and scalable applications, with expertise in object-oriented programming and automation integration.
• Hands‑on experience with Selenium WebDriver for browser-based testing, dynamic element handling, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Expertise in writing and optimizing SQL queries for backend testing, data validation and analysis across relational databases.
• Proficiency in Git for version control, including branching, merging, and maintaining clean code repositories.
• Experience in API testing with tools like Postman and RestAssured, validating response structures and automating integration tests.
• Fluency in EnglishandPolishat a minimumB2 level
