Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Kraków is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Team Lead to manage a global procurement services team and drive performance. You will report to the Global Supply Chain Operations Manager and operate in a hybrid model with two days in the office.

You will lead Buyers and Senior Buyers, oversee performance management, and ensure delivery quality, customer satisfaction, and compliance with internal processes across the organization.

Qualifications

• BA in Supply Chain, Business or similar.
• 5 years supply chain experience, experience managing a team will be an advantage
• Ability to lead a team of personnel by providing leadership, assistance and advice
• Fluency (written and spoken) in English required and a written and spoken fluency in French, German, Spanish, Swedish, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Ukrainian, Czech, Bulgarian preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP for the day-to-day management of resource management, time reporting and expense reporting.
• Exceptional verbal and interpersonal skills required
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure and proactively identify and solve issues
• Experience in making decisions
• Demonstrated leadership ability and teamwork
• Proficient use of SAP, ARIBA, Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, and PowerPoint is desirable

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor a team of supply chain professionals consisting of Buyers and Senior Buyers
• Conduct the performance management process working with Employees to develop, monitor, and review Employees work performance
• Coordinate and manage day-to-day operations of the team
• Monitor the team's activities to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and supports both internal and external customers
• Manage quality of delivery and service level agreements that meet the needs of the Departments
• Monitor metrics for the team's performance and meeting goals
• Report activities and track indicators
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure that a professional manner is maintained with customers
• Monitor internal procurement systems and processes and ensure compliance across the organization.
• Develop and maintain close working relationships with internal and external contacts as appropriate
• Analyze, identify and address important issues within the team and report team results and manage change proactively
