Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Kraków is seeking a Procurement Assistant to join the Global Supply Chain Team. You will support daily purchasing activities, coordinate with team leads, buyers and suppliers, and help ensure orders and deliveries meet requirements.

This hybrid, 20+ hour per week Civil contract role requires fluent English and an additional language (Spanish/Italian/French), solid MS Office skills, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Status as a student pursuing bachelor or master degree.
• Fluency in English and one additional language (Spanish/Italian/French).
• Availability to work 20–30 hours per week.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, team‑player spirit.
• Good analytical skills with an eye for details.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Supply Chain Team Leads to run the Supply Chain department.
• Assist in purchase orders placement (analysis, data collection).
• Provide support in checking deliveries against purchase orders to ensure that all materials have arrived intact and in the ordered quantity.
• Manage the creation of new vendors in the Approved Supplier List in due coordination with Buyers and with a commercial pillar to ensure compliance with sourcing strategies.
• Provide support in resolving issues related to Purchase Orders and Invoices in due coordination with Accounts Payable.
• Closely collaborate with your internal customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Report your achievements on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Provide additional support where required to provide the best possible service to our internal and external customers.
• Other tasks delegated by Manager and Team Leader.
