Job summary

Axpo Group in Poland is seeking a data-savvy finance professional to turn complex SME portfolio data into reliable insights. You will produce PnL bridges, manage commentary, and ensure data accuracy across reporting systems in a collaborative, international team.

You will work with Excel and tools like SQL/Power BI, communicate clearly in English and Polish, and participate in hybrid work arrangements, contributing to automation and improved controls.

Qualifications

• University degree in statistics, mathematics, engineering, data science, or related field.
• Experience handling large datasets and performing data-driven analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with SQL, Power BI, or Python is a plus.
• Polish fluency with strong business English communication.
• Organized and precise communicator who translates data into clear messages.

Responsibilities

• Produce and validate PnL bridges and management commentary.
• Execute daily, weekly and monthly predefined sets of controls.
• Monitor data flows between front, middle and reporting systems for completeness, timeliness, and accuracy.
• Triage incidents with data and technology teams; drive end-to-end resolution and tracking.
• Coordinate teams to implement new or changed data flows when products or processes evolve.
• Coordinate teams to reduce manual touchpoints and drive automation for legacy items.
• Margin leakage analysis.
