Job summary

Mars is seeking a Global R2R Fixed Assets Lead to own end-to-end Fixed Asset operations and drive excellence within the Mars Global Services Finance team. The role spans global processes, policy compliance, and transformation initiatives in a dynamic multinational setting.

You will partner with Controllership, Tax, FP&A and OE Controllers to deliver timely financial insights and ensure accurate closing cycles. Hybrid work in Warsaw offers a modern office and strong cross-functional exposure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in finance or accounting.
• 1–2+ years in a similar SSC/BPO role.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field.
• Strong R2R background with focus on Fixed Assets.
• Experience in stakeholder management in a global matrixed org.
• Experience driving finance transformation initiatives is desirable.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams (USA time zone).

Responsibilities

• Ensure service delivery excellence for Fixed Asset transactions and monitor KPIs.
• Act as SME on CapEx and Fixed Asset transactions.
• Organize period-end closing timetable to deliver accurate results on time.
• Maintain internal controls and identify risk, suggest improvements.
• Review work from team members and seek simplifications and standardization.
• Partner with stakeholders across units and Controllership to deliver insights.
• Act as trusted partner to OE Controllers for financial results and analysis.
• Drive standardization of global fixed asset processes and practices.
• Collaborate with GPO and Global Operations Leader to meet strategic goals.
• Challenge processes and work with Functional Experts on system changes.
