Job summary

Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates in Warsaw seeks a Global R2R Fixed Assets Lead to own end-to-end Fixed Asset operations, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with global policies. You will collaborate with Controllership, Tax, FP&A, and MGS Finance Tower Leads to deliver timely financial insights.

The role requires 5+ years in finance/accounting with a strong R2R background and experience in a shared services environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in finance or accounting.
• 1-2+ years of experience in a similar position in SSC/BPO.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
• Strong background in Record-to-Report (R2R) with a focus on Fixed Assets.
• Experience in stakeholder management, change management, and communication within a global matrixed organization.
• Experience working within a Shared Services model or driving finance transformation initiatives is desirable.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, including data analytics, financial reconciliation, and financial systems knowledge.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to influence and partner with cross-functional global teams (including USA time-zone).

Responsibilities

• Ensure service delivery excellence for Fixed Asset transactions.
• Act as the SME on CapEx and Fixed Asset transactions.
• Organize and manage the period-end closing timetable to deliver accurate results on time.
• Maintain an adequate internal control environment, identifying risks and recommending improvements.
• Review work prepared by team members and drive simplification and standardization.
• Partner with stakeholders across business units, Controllership, Tax, FP&A, and MGS Finance Tower Leads to deliver timely insights.
• Act as a trusted business partner to OE Controllers, owning financial results and performance analysis.
• Drive the standardization of fixed asset processes and practices.
• Collaborate with the GPO and Global Operations Leader of Fixed Assets to meet strategic goals.
• Challenge processes and implement system-related changes and global standards.
