Job summary

Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) in Katowice area is seeking a Process Engineer to drive the deployment of site manufacturing processes and the industrialization of new products. You will create manufacturing instructions, define BOMs, tooling, PFMEA, and collaborate with global teams to ensure robust, repeatable production.

You will lead production process definitions for new products, support NPI changes, apply Six Sigma/Lean methods, and coordinate with contract manufacturers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering in technical industry.
• Proven experience in successful development of manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma, lean, PFMEA, SPC, DOE.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement Manufacturing instructions, BOM, tooling, Poke Yoke, equipment for existing products.
• Lead or contribute to manufacturing projects for NPI or changes, ensuring robust, efficient, documented processes.
• Report project status to senior management with regular updates.
• Define production processes for new products aligning with R&D requirements and critical parameters.
• Define and deploy PFMEA and Control Plan for products and lines.
• Work with global contract manufacturers to support operations and optimize manufacturing infra.
• Support new product introduction in production: labor, quality, capacity and scheduling.
• Perform PFMEA and corrective actions; root cause analysis; support service centers.
• As part of global team, support other sites as needed.
