Job summary

Danish Crown A/S in Kraków seeks a Financial Controller to safeguard financial integrity and lead close processes across IFRS and local GAAP. You will partner with operations and auditors to ensure accurate reporting and strong internal controls.

The role focuses on governance of monthly, quarterly and year-end results, balance sheet health, and proactive risk management, with a drive toward standardisation and a high-quality financial reporting framework.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Financial Controllership, Financial Reporting, External Audit, or Accounting Governance.
• Experience with IFRS/local GAAP in a complex organization.
• Experience supporting statutory reporting, audit, and internal control environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the integrity and quality of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Review accounting outcomes to ensure transactions follow IFRS/local GAAP.
• Investigate significant balance sheet movements and ensure understanding.
• Coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Lead audits and resolve audit findings.
