Job summary

DFDS is seeking an SSC Financial Controller in Poznań to own financial data reporting and internal controls, collaborating with Local Finance and stakeholders. The role includes mentoring accounting departments, resolving non-standard queries, and supporting audits.

The team of 13 works across Europe with hybrid work: 2 days in the Poznań office and 3 days remote. Candidates should have 5+ years in finance, strong Excel and Power BI skills, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in finance or accounting.
• 5 years of experience in RTR/Audit or similar roles.
• Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, timely periodic reporting per IFRS and DFDS GAP.
• Coordinate with Local Finance and stakeholders for close results.
• Mentor accounting teams and handle standard/non-standard queries.
• Ensure internal controls and balance sheet reconciliation per policy.
• Monitor debt collection and escalate notable issues.
• Support internal and external audits with material preparation.
• Contribute to ongoing process improvements and automation.
