Job summary

Antal is seeking a Financial Accounting Operations Senior Manager (IFRS / Covered Bonds) in Kraków to lead period end close, consolidation, and regulatory reporting in a global institution. You will liaise with international stakeholders, ensure SOX controls, and drive process improvements across financial operations.

The role requires 7+ years in accounting, deep IFRS knowledge, strong Excel skills, and fluent English (C1). Hybrid work: 2 days a week in Kraków, with ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in accounting and advanced financial reporting.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS standards and financial reporting principles.
• Understanding of financial products, with a strong emphasis on Regulated Covered Bonds.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (including macros) and advanced analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively participating in and coordinating the period end close and balance sheet reconciliation & substantiation processes.
• Preparing inputs and reporting for regulatory and group purposes (IFRS, FINREP, CE).
• Monitoring accounting controls and ensuring compliance of documentation (SOX, RCA) and procedures (SOPs).
• Supporting process transformation by identifying areas for automation and solving analytical problems (ad-hoc queries).
• Collaborating daily with international stakeholders and supporting the senior manager (VP) in project-related tasks.
