Katch is seeking an Associate Accounting Clerk in Louisville, KY for an entry-level role in its Accounting team. You will research and process unidentified and returned payments, build foundational experience in payment research and reconciliation, and work with experienced colleagues to learn procedures and systems.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with in-office collaboration in Louisville and remote days, plus training and growth in a transaction-focused environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to research information, identify discrepancies, and follow procedures.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Clear communication and teamwork.
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

Responsabilidades

• Research unidentified payments using available documentation to determine the appropriate account or transaction.
• Review and process returned payments accurately and promptly.
• Research and maintain non-recovery payment and check activity per procedures.
• Investigate payment discrepancies and escalate unresolved issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to payment research and processing.
• Collaborate with Accounting and Operations to resolve payment issues.
• Cross-train with team members to provide coverage and broaden knowledge of accounting processes.
• Follow internal controls and confidentiality requirements.
• Support additional accounting projects as assigned.
