Job summary

Luxoft Poland seeks a Software Quality Engineer (Regular level) to perform manual, component-level testing for video collaboration devices with embedded Android. You will validate software components and interact with hardware in a hybrid Kraków-based setting.

Responsibilities include regression, exploratory and ad hoc testing, documenting results in Confluence, and defect tracking in JIRA. Requires 3–5 years of manual testing, Linux/macOS skills, and fluency in English and Polish.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of manual software testing experience, component/subsystem level.
• Hands-on testing of embedded systems or hardware products.
• Strong Linux/macOS terminal skills including SSH.
• Experience with JIRA for defects and test execution.
• Fluent English and Polish (spoken and written).
• Willingness to work in a Kraków hybrid model on-site.
• Analytical mindset, detail-oriented, good collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual, component-level test cases.
• Validate software components before system integration.
• Perform regression, exploratory, and ad hoc testing.
• Functional testing with focus on component behavior.
• Verify hardware-software interactions in real conditions.
• Log and verify fixes; re-test defects.
