Job summary

Luxoft Poland is seeking a Software Quality Engineer (Regular level) for manual, component-level testing on video collaboration devices with embedded Android. You will validate individual software components and subsystems, perform regression, exploratory and functional testing, and verify hardware–software interactions with real devices in a hybrid Kraków setup.

The role requires hands-on software validation, collaboration with developers and product owners, and documentation in Confluence.

Qualifications

3–5 years of manual software testing experience, preferably at component/subsystem level.
Hands-on testing of embedded systems or hardware-related products.
Strong Linux/macOS skills with terminal usage including SSH.

Responsibilities

Execute manual, component-level test cases.
Validate software components and subsystems before system integration.
Perform regression, exploratory, ad hoc, and functional testing focusing on component behavior.
Verify hardware–software interactions on real devices in lab setups.
Identify, report and track defects using JIRA with clear reproduction steps and logs.
Collaborate with developers, automation engineers and product owners.
Contribute to test design and documentation in Confluence.
