Job summary

Luxoft in Kraków is seeking a Software Quality Engineer (Regular level) focused on manual, component-level testing for video collaboration devices with embedded Android. You will validate components and hardware interactions in a hybrid work setting, on-site in Kraków.

You will design test cases, execute manual tests, document results in Confluence, and collaborate with developers and product owners. Fluency in English and Polish is required; prior experience with Linux/macOS terminals and JIRA

Qualifications

3–5 years of manual software testing, preferably at component or subsystem level.
Hands-on testing of embedded systems or hardware-related products.
Strong Linux/macOS terminal usage and SSH familiarity.
Familiar with embedded Linux/macOS debugging tools.
Experience with JIRA for defect tracking and test execution.
Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, connectivity, diagnostics).
Ability to create clear, structured test documentation.
Fluency in English and Polish (spoken and written).
Willingness to work in a hybrid model with on-site presence in Kraków.

Responsibilities

Manual testing and component validation for software and hardware interfaces.
Design, maintain, and execute component-level test cases and scenarios.
Document test results, logs, and evidence; update Confluence knowledge base.
Identify, report, and verify defects in collaboration with developers and PO.
Work with Linux/macOS terminal tools; assist with basic network diagnostics.
Coordinate with automation team and contribute to test ideas for future automation.
