Job summary

Capgemini Invent is seeking a Data Steward to support enterprise-wide data governance initiatives. The role focuses on improving data ownership, consistency and business trust in data assets across multiple business domains.

The position is based on-site in Gdańsk or Wrocław, Poland, with a hybrid work option after onboarding. The role requires 3–5+ years in data governance or related fields, fluent English, and strong collaboration with data owners and stakeholders to ensure data definitions

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Business Analysis or Data Management.
• Experience working with business stakeholders and data owners.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve data governance processes and standards.
• Support business teams in defining critical data assets.
• Manage business glossaries, metadata and data ownership structures.
• Ensure consistent use of business definitions across domains.
• Work closely with Data Governance, Data Quality and business teams.
• Support data stewardship frameworks and governance adoption.
• Monitor compliance with data standards and policies.
