Job summary

Capgemini Invent in Poland is seeking a Data Steward to support enterprise-wide data governance initiatives, focusing on improving data ownership, consistency and business trust in data assets across multiple domains.

You will maintain and improve data governance processes, support business teams in defining critical data assets, manage glossaries and metadata, ensure consistent definitions, and collaborate with Data Governance, Data Quality and business teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Business Analysis or Data Management.
• Understanding of data stewardship and governance principles.
• Experience maintaining business glossaries and metadata repositories.
• Experience working with business stakeholders and data owners.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Your role

We are seeking a Data Steward to support enterprise-wide data governance initiatives. The role focuses on improving data ownership, consistency and business trust in data assets across multiple business domains.

• Maintain and improve data governance processes and standards.
• Support business teams in defining critical data assets.
• Manage business glossaries, metadata and data ownership structures.
• Ensure consistent use of business definitions across domains.
• Work closely with Data Governance, Data Quality and business teams.
• Support data stewardship frameworks and governance adoption.
• Monitor compliance with data standards and policies

Your profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Business Analysis or Data Management.
• Understanding of data stewardship and governance principles.
• Experience working with business stakeholders and data owners.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Experience maintaining business glossaries and metadata repositories.
• Must be based in, and available to work on-site full-time from, Gdańsk or Wrocław.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Data Governance frameworks.
• Experience with Master Data Management (MDM).
• Experience within enterprise transformation programs.
