Job summary

Capgemini Invent in Poland seeks a Data Governance Specialist / Data Steward to drive enterprise-wide governance initiatives. You will work with data owners and business stakeholders to define assets, maintain glossaries, and ensure consistent definitions across domains.

Your profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in Data Steward position, Data Governance, Business Analysis or Data Management.
• Understanding of data stewardship and governance principles.
• Experience working with business stakeholders and data owners.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Experience maintaining business glossaries and metadata repositories.
• Fluent English.
• Must be based in, and available to work on-site full-time from, Gdańsk or Wrocław.
• Knowledge of Python and SQL.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Data Governance frameworks.
• Experience with Master Data Management (MDM).
• Experience within enterprise transformation programs

You do not need to have held the formal title of “Data Steward”, but you should have relevant experience in data governance, data management, metadata management, MDM or data quality.
