Job summary

Hitachi Energy Poland in Krakow is seeking an Electronics Engineer to contribute to the Modular Advanced Control for HVDC (MACH) project. You will join the Valve Electronics team and work on hardware for Control & Protection systems, from concept to release in a state-of-the-art on-site lab.

The role requires a strong background in electronics design, 2+ years of PCB design experience, knowledge of EMC and Power Integrity, and proficiency with test equipment.

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor in Electronics Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of analogue PCB design experience.
• Experience with SPICE-based simulation and PCB CAD tools.
• Understanding EMC, Power Integrity and management.
• Experience with lab test equipment and PCB testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MACH hardware for Control & Protection systems from idea to release.
• Collaborate in valve electronics projects and participate in technical reviews.
• Improve documentation, testing infrastructure and design processes.
• Support production release and sustaining activities for hardware platforms.
