Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Kraków is seeking an experienced R&D Team Leader for GI MACH Valve Electronics to guide a skilled group of engineers in developing advanced electronics and power electronics solutions.

You will drive embedded systems, control algorithms, and sensor integration from concept through deployment. The role emphasizes mentoring, roadmap shaping, cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing and quality, and ensuring compliance with industry standards to deliver high-impact

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering; PhD is a plus.
7+ years of electronics R&D experience with leadership or senior technical responsibilities.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and fluency in English.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of R&D engineers for valve electronics systems.
Oversee full product development lifecycle from concept to production support.
Define project scope, priorities, and resources to meet business objectives.
Drive research and adoption of new technologies to maintain competitiveness.
Guide embedded systems design, control algorithms, sensor integration, and communication solutions.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure successful integration.
Oversee verification and validation activities including HIL simulations and testing.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety requirements, and quality processes.
